Steve Spelman is the new Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific region

Hectronic continues to go for international expansion. Another building block in this strategy has just been put into place in the Asia-Pacific region.
The company has opened a new office in Singapore to strengthen its presence in this prosperous area of the world. Its a major commitment, for which a no less committed managing director has now been found in Steve Spelman.

The new man brings a wealth of experience with him, both as a manager and from within the industry. He comes from England and has held positions of responsibility in the oil and gas industry for many years. They have taken him pretty much around the world, as the 53 year old's professional career has included stints throughout Europe, in America and now in the Asia-Pacific region. Before taking up his post at Hectronic Steve Spelman spent 15 years at Enraf, half of which were as managing director for the region he now covers for Hectronic. He had a broad remit, working both with end customers and business partners. Of course he intends to use the knowledge he gained there in his new job at Hectronic. Steve Spelman is a competent leader and manager whom we are delighted to welcome on board", commented Hectronic Managing Director Stefan Forster.
The father of two has set himself some ambitious goals...
So he will be on the road a lot, but still intends to find time for his sporting hobbies. I do try to keep fit", says Steve Spelman, because its good to have a balance. He normally manages to and says its just a matter of organisation. And fortunately there are alternatives when there isnt the time or the space to take part in sporting activities himself. Then I just watch sport on television, especially rugby, football and Formula 1.
