iMPath Networks Inc. and Telindus Announce Interoperability Trials

iMPath Networks Inc., a leading provider of video networking solutions for security surveillance and transportation markets, and CellStack Systems - A Telindus Group Company, a leading provider of video and audio networking equipment for use on high-speed digital networks, announced interoperability trials.
The trials are intended to confirm the compatibility of iMPath's i-VolutionTM series of video communications products with CellStack's award winning product range. The resulting integrated solution will be targeted specifically for applications requiring networked CCTV video surveillance, and transportation monitoring.

iMPath Networks' i-Volution series of video communication products are designed to meet the video quality, device reliability and interface flexibility requirements of complex transportation and critical infrastructure applications. The i-Volution family includes environmentally hardened, intelligent edge-of-network devices, high density, redundant control room video concentrators and standards based network management solutions, viewers and APIs.

"iMPath and CellStack Systems are both early pioneers of standards-based video networking solutions. Together, we show users that digital solutions have major advantages over legacy systems, " says Terrence Kulka, President and CEO, iMPath Networks. "It's no surprise that users require interoperability. Based on the success that iMPath has achieved working with the other Telindus Group Companies, interoperability trials are an important step in delivering complete customer satisfaction."

CellStack System's network video products enable customers to benefit from one digital network for video, voice and data. Using just one reliable and robust network results in a scalable CCTV solution that is easy to manage and lowers the overall total cost of ownership through reduced installation, training and maintenance costs. More importantly the one network solution enables the integration of a wide variety of other applications including existing security equipment and also emerging technologies.

Pending the completion of the trial, iMPath Networks and Telindus will be initiating a strategic partnership resulting in further joint activities.
