Jaarbeurs is mainly known as one of the leading event locations in Europe and focuses on the (online) development, accommodation and facilitation of fairs, events, congresses and other media concepts in The Netherlands and Europe.

Jaarbeurs will redevelop the complex and the surrounding car parks on a large scale over the next ten years. Annually almost 1,000,000 people will park there who visit Jaarbeurs, Kinepolis, Holland Casino, the theatre and the city centre. The current parking system comprises 4 parking lots with a total of 4,200 parking spaces and is dated.

IP Parking Wins Tender Through Innovative Hardware, Software and Services

Jaarbeurs opted for the innovative and state-of-the-art IP2 terminal. A large 15" user-friendly and intuitive touchscreen increases customer satisfaction. The IP2 is modular so future developments can easily be implemented. The IP2 is equipped with all current identification and payment methods such as: QR code, barcode, access code, tap&go and even Apple-pay is among the possibilities.

Jaarbeurs will use various API's and Park-spot to enable online payment, reservation and subscription of cardholders, exhibitors, companies and visitors. IP Parking thinks along continuously and keeps Jaarbeurs informed of developments and how it can benefit from them. Because all data from different systems is collected in Power-BI, this is clearly visualized and Jaarbeurs knows exactly which buttons to turn in order to increase occupancy and turnover and to improve exploitation.
