IPI Announces a New Executive Director

I am very happy to announce that the search committee has selected Shawn Conrad as our new Executive Director. The search process was long and difficult and the search team spent many hours reviewing applications and interviewing candidates. The final selection was very difficult. However, when all was said and done, the unanimous choice of the committee was Shawn Conrad. Shawn has an extensive background in trade organization management and I believe he fully understands what needs to be done to help our organization flourish.

Shawn is a Certified Association Executive through the American Society of Association Executives and is a graduate of the University of Maryland. Shawn has been with several organizations in the past and has had great success in increasing membership participation, increasing revenue, growing trade shows and conferences, producing a monthly trade journal and the development of educational programs.

The Board of Directors welcomes Shawn and the opportunities ahead for the International Parking Institute.
