IPI Conference looks to Create a Sustainable Future

DESMAN understands that the need for sustainable design (green design, eco-design or design for environment) is necessary to begin resolving the global environmental crisis that continually increases due to the worlds investment in diminishing resources.

DESMAN Associates is at the forefront of parking structure design and as such has been proactive in providing parking solutions that embrace environmental and energy efficient design. We encourage those involved in design, construction and operation of parking structures to incorporate as many of the LEED sustainable design elements as possible. Also, many client types such as corporate campuses, universities, municipalities and health organizations have LEED equivalency requirements for the design and construction of their buildings. There are many sustainable design elements inherent to parking structures as well as those that could be incorporated with little to no additional cost.
