Jim Quasey Joins Industrial Scientific as Vice-President, Global Operations
Industrial Scientific Corporation has hired Jim Quasey as Vice-President, Global Operations.
In this role, Jim will have responsibility for all global manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality and operational excellence functions within the company. He will also serve as a member of the Corporate Executive Council (CEC).
Jim comes to Industrial Scientific from Vocollect Health Care Systems, where he served as President and Vice-President, Operations. Prior to Vocollect, Jim was with FreeMarkets as Director of Global Market Operations. Jim also spent 13 years at Respironics where he held various roles such as Corporate Quality Manager, Plant Manager and Vice-President of Operations for the Home Healthcare Division.
Jim has Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering/Design and Industrial Engineering from the Ohio State University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellons Tepper School of Business. He is a Certified Quality Engineer with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and has served in various volunteer/board of director roles with Catalyst Connection and the Pittsburgh Technology Council.
