Lanier Parking Solutions announced today the appointment of Bijan Eghtedari as president. Lanier CEO Jerry Skillett said Eghtedari will oversee Lanier’s continued growth strategy that began with a major equity investment from Antarctica Capital last spring.
“Bijan infuses additional energy and excitement into our already strong management team,” Skillett said. “Bijan is one of the brightest leaders in the industry and I am confident that he will create opportunity and inspire others in our organization. He is the perfect complement to our culture of exceptional people providing exceptional service.” Skillett remains as Lanier’s CEO.
Prior to joining Lanier, Eghtedari served for 12 years as CEO of Park One Holdings, which grew during his tenure from a small firm to more than 150 properties and 1,500 employees in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama. Previously, Eghtedari was senior vice president at Central Parking for 14 years, overseeing several markets on the East Coast, including Atlanta.
Eghtedari also has a strong record of supporting local and regional charitable organizations.
“I firmly believe in and encourage my employees to give back to communities they serve,” Eghtedari said. “I look forward to continuing this commitment at Lanier.” Organizations that his firm supported during his tenure include the I Have a Dream Foundation, Voices for Children Foundation, and United Way.
To take the position with Lanier, Eghtedari has relocated to Atlanta from Boca Raton, Florida, with his wife and daughter. Eghtedari attended the George Washington University School of Business and obtained his Six Sigma certification from Villanova University.
