LEGIC license partnership enables Atron Systems AG to expand its innovative contactless product offering

In the future, requirements in the transport sector will be increasingly shaped by individual customers needs, increased cost pressures and fierce competition. Atron Systems AG supplies products, services and support for traffic and transport companies ranging from onboard computers precisely tailored to suit a particular enterprise, ultramodern ticket machines and passenger information systems through to comprehensive central software with complete marketing and sales modules. Atron equipment can be customised and combined at the customers premises to suit the intended usage. Equipment is mutually compatible and easy to manage through a central software system. Atron is now using LEGIC smart card technology to expand its product range in the area of 13.56 MHz contactless personal identification. In doing so, the company is not only adapting to developments in the area of contactless guest and tourist cards, it is also providing its customers with solutions that include a high level of protection for their investment and extra convenience for end users.

Atron Systems AG was founded in December 2003 in Switzerland as an affiliate of Munich company Atron Electronic GmbH. The firm is based in Bronschhofen and is Atrons main sales and service base in Switzerland. The Munich parent company has been successfully active in the market for 26 years and has recently significantly grown its international business in Scandinavia, in particular, as well as in Switzerland. It also has branches in Sweden, Austria, Croatia and the Czech Republic.
