Legion Group appointed an ACS Contractor

Legion Group plc has been informed by the Security Industry Authority that it has met the eligibility requirements for “Fast Track” approval and has been appointed an ACS Contractor under the SIA’s Approved Contractor Scheme, effective from 20 March 2006, in the following sectors :

Security Guarding

Key Holding

Public Space Surveillance (CCTV)

Legion’s Managing Director, David Evans, said “We are delighted to have met the criteria for the scheme in time for the Compliance Date. Achievement of membership of the ACS is a key part of our strategy for customer service and growth. Legion who carry out Parking Enforcement and Car Park Management under the name Legion Parking Services are the only company carrying out Decriminalised Parking Enforcement, CCTV Monitoring and Manned Guarding to have achieved membership of the scheme.
