Magnetic Autocontrol GmbH focuses on its core business

The Magnetic Autocontrol Group is based in Germany but active throughout the world, with sales and manufacturing operations on every continent. Magnetic leads the market in quality and specializes in providing innovative solutions, products and services in the field of access control for pedestrians and vehicles. We have acquired particular expertise in the automation of the immigration process, and are planning a substantial expansion of this business area. A further objective is to consolidate our leading position in the key market segments of traffic management, access control, automatic payment and immigration/boarding. We are investing in tomorrow's technology and concentrating our resources.

"In line with the Group's strategic orientation and the rationalization of our product portfolio we have therefore decided to withdraw from the German parking system business.

"With effect from January 1, 2009, we are discontinuing the sale of Orion parking systems in Germany; our many years of representing a first class business partner are coming to an end. This decision will not affect the excellent working relationship between our two companies, who will continue to cooperate in the future. Magnetic Autocontrol will supply the Zeag Group with a barrier specially adapted to suit the new Orion XR system.
