MANAGEMENT RESTRUCTURING COMPLETE AT DUNCAN PARKING TECHNOLOGIES

Paul Descombes has been promoted to Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. In his 15 years at Duncan, Mr. Descombes has gained experience in all facets of the business. He most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing and has considerable international sales experience. Mr. Descombes travels extensively and has developed relationships with many municipalities and other agencies that are involved in parking around the world.

Ron Fridman has been promoted to Vice-President of Engineering. Mr. Fridman joined Duncan in January 2004 and is leading an aggressive product development initiative. He previously was the Vice-President of Engineering at Hypercom, a $250M global manufacturer of electronic transaction equipment. Mr. Fridman has been instrumental in building an R & D team in Phoenix, Arizona that is focusing on new product launches.

Donnita Rockwell has joined the Company as Vice-President of Operations. Ms. Rockwell will lead the effort to streamline and optimize Duncan’s production of innovative new products. She was previously Vice-President of Operations at NPC, Inc., a $20M manufacturing company, that services the construction industry. Ms. Rockwell has considerable experience in global sourcing and world-class manufacturing.


Duncan was purchased by the principals of Metapoint Partners and Management in June 2003, at which time David A. Dull became President/ CEO. Since then Duncan has embarked on developing innovative products that offer a complete parking solution that includes single-space and multi-space meters, meter management software, and numerous complimentary products that provide the latest in electronic transaction technology. “We believe that this team, along with the other very talented and experienced people at Duncan, will enable us to be the leading provider of parking solutions in the industry” stated Dave Dull.

Duncan was established in 1936 and has produced the majority of the over 5 million parking meters that are on streets and in parking lots across North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
