They linked their entry and exit terminals to the hospitals existing barriers and traffic lights.
Its a win win situation, said Tom Porteous, Metrics sales executive who handled the order.
The hospital has been able to keep their installation costs down by using their existing barriers and traffic lights as well as utilizing their electronic vehicle counter which is wired into Metrics new system.
Metric has commissioned a Paystation in the main hospital reception area as well as entry and exit terminals for their staff and visitor car park.
The component parts of the system the Paystation and entry and exit barriers are completely stand alone.
Robertson FM arranged the installation through their electrical and construction contractors.
