Metric's just the ticket
Metric (1 .110) has launched its new Aura pay and display machine at Intertraffic. The company says that the system is the next generation in parking systems, with features such as an advanced electronic locking system as standard and communication options including GSM, GPRS, GPS, and WiFi. It also has a low electronic consumption module and can be powered by mains, solar or battery.
Metric sales and marketing director Bill Laurie said: "A lengthy pre-design project to determine current and future market requirements accurately was undertaken to ensure that the best possible development path was chosen and I am extremely confident that with the Aura Pay and Display machine this has been achieved."
The system is fully RoHS (Removal of Hazardous Substances) compliant, and has been approved for Part III of the DDA regulations by the BCODP (British Council of Disabled People). Existing Metric Aslan back office software is fully compatible with the new machine.
"The new machine and our move to new premises, constitutes a major investment by the company which has created the platform for stability and sustained growth over the coming years," Laurie said.
