Metric Win Wrexham Tender
Metric Parking is completing the installation of 26 new Aura pay and display parking machines for Wrexham County Borough Council (pop 130,000).
Swindon-based Metric won a tender to supply the machines, the ASLAN Back Office and three year maintenance contract.
Twenty four are already operational in town centre car parks and a further two will be installed on completion of a fully refurbished car park.
The machines are standard coin operated as Wrexhams charges for parking off-street are only 2 or 3 a day depending on the location of the car park.
Wrexham has one other Metric pay and display machine, an Accent, on a site close to the hospital.
