RADIX INTEGRATE AN RFID READER

Radix actively works with the key solution providers in the UK and International parking market. As a result of developments in these markets, Radix has integrated an RFID reader to comply with the needs of one of those International partners: Parkmobile. The basis of Parkmobile's innovative parking solutions is the RFID transponder card which eliminates any form of parking permit fraud or ticket mis-use.

The paper permit is simply replaced with the transponder card which is issued only once and remains active as long as the resident is eligible to have a permit. Enforcement is easy and efficient; Radix handheld computers with an RFID scanner and GPRS connection, check, in real time, the status of the permit or virtual parking ticket. The RFID permit or virtual parking ticket is immediately cancelled and de-activated if it is lost or stolen.
