Montgomery county DOT awards countywide pay-by-cell contract to MobileNow!

This award to MobileNOW! was largely based on the success of its current pilot project encompassing 1250 spaces in Bethesda launched at the beginning of the year.  Over 6,000 individuals have registered to use this service to date.

As part of this contract ParkNOW! will be deployed in all 5 parking districts in the County, including Bethesda, Silver Springs, Wheaton, North Bethesda, and Montgomery Hills.

Says MobileNOW! President Krista Tassa, We are very excited to begin rolling-out the ParkNOW! system throughout Montgomery County.  This will allow thousands of additional motorists to enjoy the convenience of our pay-by-cell system.  Having it available in so many different locations should also drive adoption rates and make this a highly used and valued system.   It is expected that initial roll-out will begin in Bethesda in late November to metered spaces not already covered by the ParkNOW! Service, and  continue as long as weather permits.
