MSR-Traffic: New project in Sri Lanka

MSR-Traffic has provided a dynamic parking guidance system with single space detection for a car park in Sri Lanka - to be continued.

Sri Lanka, an insular state in the Indian Ocean, is better known for the export of tea, coffee, natural rubber or coconuts. Due to its inherent natural beauty and its rich cultural heritage Sri Lanka is an extremely popular tourist destination. Locals say that you need three things for driving a car in Sri Lanka: Good horn, good brakes and good luck. MSR-Traffic has thought a step ahead and has delivered a dynamic and intelligent parking guidance system for a large car park.

It is a stand-alone system, which means that it includes neither a central computer nor the software ParkGard Control Center. The intelligent parking guidance system is equipped with ultrasonic sensors (incl. status LEDs) and dynamic displays for each level in order to show the visitors the fastest way to the nearest available parking space.

The client has installed the complete system on site alone and has also performed the commissioning on his own. Further similar parking garages with the same configuration are already under discussion.
