MSR-Traffic: Summer Projects 2017

Over the last few months, MSR-Traffic has received some interesting orders to implement innovative parking guidance systems. In the following you can find a small selection of very gratifying projects in four different countries:

Croatia: Supernova in Zadar

The largest shopping mall in Dalmatia is again investing a lot of money – specifically also into a parking guidance system from MSR-Traffic for the existing and the new part of the parking areas. The shopping centre offers a sales area of over 37,000 m² and a total of more than 1,000 parking spaces for visitors. The indoor parking spaces will be equipped with modern ultrasonic sensors (including coloured status LEDs); at node points and per level, dynamic LED displays will show the fastest way to the next free parking space and the software ParkGard Control Center will help the operator to evaluate all parking procedures.

Austria: Parken Plus in Vienna

The company named Parken Plus Betreiber GmbH operates and manages parking garages and parking spaces in Austria. For an underground car park in Vienna, Parken Plus has opted for a single-space detection system of MSR-Traffic. Above all the price/performance ratio, the quality and the speedy on-site service by the branch office of MSR in Korneuburg convinced the customer. On a total of two levels, single-space sensors and dynamic LED displays were installed to guide customers to free parking spaces. Since the spiral access and exit road of the parking decks is situated in the centre, the LED displays at these turn-off points can reduce search traffic and increase customer comfort. For the operator in turn, it is important to be able to generate accurate statistical evaluations and statements about the parking behavior - so the use of the "ParkGard Control Center" software is of particular interest.

Germany: Crown in Dusseldorf

This new crown jewel of the inner city will offer enough space for a food retailer for Germany's largest fresh market. In addition to a four-star hotel and a medical service of the health insurance funds there will also be two levels with sufficient parking facilities. These are now being equipped with an innovative parking guidance system of MSR-Traffic. In addition to single-space detection sensors and LED displays on the ceiling, the software (ParkGard Control Center) will offer numerous features for the operator.

Denmark: By&Havn in Copenhagen

It is now the eighth project of MSR-Traffic in Denmark. In Oerestad - a well-known district for MSR - another parking garage will be equipped with a complete parking guidance system with single space detection. It will be able to visualize, control and evaluate the parking garage locally or centrally in parallel with all other car parks via the PGCC (client-server software). But not only for this reason, the customer has opted for a parking guidance system from MSR-Traffic. In addition to the innovative software, the extra-thin LED displays and the reliable ultrasonic sensors were also able to score points.
