Multi Storey Car Park - New Romford Hospital

The topping out ceremony was held on Thursday 30 September 2004 to mark the completion of the main superstructure of the building and start of the finishing phases.

The multi storey car park is being designed and constructed by English based specialist contractor in Dorset called Bourne Parking Limited and it will house over 900 cars for use by staff and visitors to the hospital. The building has contemporary architectural features including attractive aluminium louvre cladding to maximise natural daylight and ventilation within the building. The car park building has been designed with no internal columns to the parking bays, light and airy stairs and lift lobbies, and a covered walkway to the main entrance of the hospital, all to give a pleasant and secure environment for its users.
