New executive at Ascom Management
Ascom has just appointed a highly qualified manager to an important post in its Security Solutions Division. As of 1 November 2005, Michaela Stöckli is taking over the running of the Traffic Security business unit.
The 42-year-old Michaela Stöckli is taking on the task of managing the Traffic Security business unit. She takes up her post on 1 November 2005 and will report directly to Bernd Kuhlin, General Manager of the Security Solutions Division. Thus Ascom underlines the strategic meaning of this business segment.
Ascom has secured a prominent management personality in Michaela Stöckli, who will be contributing her valuable experience in the IT sector. Michaela Stöckli has a qualification in business management, and in the course of her business career she has exercised a variety of sales and marketing management functions in informatics firms operating internationally. She ran the Switzerland office of Software AG, then was Regional Manager for several European countries before taking over management of the Swiss subsidiary of Logica CMG (London). From 2003 she held the position of International Sales Vice President of Phonak Holding, where she was responsible for worldwide sales of Phonak products. Since 2005, Michaela Stöckli has been working independently as a business consultant.
Traffic Security provides integrated information and communications systems for public transport, railway stations and underground railways, as well as tunnel radio, emergency call systems and information displays for roads and motorways.
