Special paintwork also provides protection against graffiti while piezo buttons are a good defense against the use of force.

The settings of the ticket machines can be altered and transaction data such as credit card charges can be transmitted 24 hours a day by means of data transmission with the mobile radio standards, GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) or GPRS (General Packet Radio Service).
