NEXPA has been awarded the 4th phase contract by Incheon International Airport. In a continued pursuit for a “smart parking management & guidance system” at Incheon International Airport, this 4th phase will aim to improve upon the successful installations and operations of the first 3 phases dating back to 1999.
The scope of this project is to incorporate the latest smart parking technology in a new T2 long-term parking building, improve the overall user experience for taxi operations, and provide a new set of control & command services based on the latest AI technologies.
For the first time in the world, NEXPA will introduce WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) and DEFOG (fog prevention) technologies for Parking Guidance System cameras along with other innovative technologies such as AI vehicle number recognition and reflective license plate vehicle number recognition.
The project will transform over 4,000 parking spaces scattered around 9 different complex buildings to one integrated & intelligent parking management and the construction is scheduled from October 2021 to December 2023. It aims to promote systematic stages such as plan, analysis, design, development, test and equipment supply, equipment installation and dry run operation with NEXPA’s AI based Parking Operation Scenario recommendation.
