Conference on Dec. 8 at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott in Ft. Myers, Fla.

Conference on Dec. 8 at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott in Ft. Myers, Fla.
Banning, who joined NPA in 2010, will discuss population trends, mobility and the parking customer experience in a mobile world.
Under Bannings leadership, NPA membership has increased by more than 22 percent this year. Additionally, she spearheaded efforts to launch a series of NPA historical firsts; its first industry market study, first industry buying power survey and first parking industry issue alerts program. The NPA Issue Alerts Program keeps members abreast of regulatory, legal, financial and tax issues of importance to all facets of the parking industry in North America.
As part of Bannings commitment to research and NPA access to market data, NPA also launched its first industry market study and industry buying power survey. To meet the needs of both the private and public sectors, NPA launched peer networks for member interest groups on the leading edge issues.
Previously, Banning served as the vice president for the SCORE Association, Washington, D.C., a 12,400 member organization, with 364 chapters.
She is a charter member of the American Airlines advisory council on womens business segment strategy. She also serves on the National Advisory Council for the Womens Leadership Exchange, New York, NY and the Center for the Arts Bonita Springs Corporate Advisory Council, Bonita Springs, FL.
Currently she serves on the Board of Directors of Dress for Success, Washington, D.C., where she chairs the nominating committee. She is a member of the International Womens Forum, Public Relations Society of America and International Association of Business Communicators, where she holds the ABC accreditation.
She earned a B.A. in Public Relations from Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio and an M.A. in Public Communication from The American University, Washington, D.C.
