NSL shortlisted in two categories at top industry awards

NSL has been shortlisted twice in the prestigious British Parking Awards, to be announced by TV comedian Hugh Dennis on March 11.
The company entered with two clients, City of Westminster and the London Borough of Hounslow.

With Westminster, NSL entered Civil Enforcement Officer Cherelle Lander in the category of Parking Person of the Year.

Communications Director Tim Cowen commented: Westminster regularly receives requests from TV companies to film parking enforcement in action and about two years ago we discovered Cherelle was a natural on camera.

Since then she has been seen in numerous broadcasts, by millions of people all over the world, demonstrating the customer-friendly

approach to parking enforcement. We think shes the most high profile person in parking certainly the most high-profile person on the frontline and her TV work has done the industrys reputation a power of good.

Meanwhile, NSLs CCTV operation for the London Borough of Hounslow has been shortlisted in the Enforcement Award category, where we detailed the successful operation to upgrade and install a new CCTV system for parking and community safety to fulfil one of Hounslows ten new pledges to residents. Promise 10 included a pledge to improve community safety.

Tim commented: Were delighted that the forward-thinking approach by Hounslow has been recognised with this nomination.
