Online Airport Parking Reservation Service Reaches Millionth Booking
AirportParkingReservations.com began accepting guaranteed reservations -- with the payment of an online deposit -- in 2004, and now in just over three years later the company booked its one millionth parking space.
On May 8, 2007, AirportParkingReservations.com booked its one millionth parking reservation. "No matter how you look at it, one million of just about anything is pretty impressive," says company president Tom Lombardi, who notes that one million parking spaces lined up end-to-end would stretch from New York City to Los Angeles. "When I first spoke to parking lot owners about making reservations online, they thought I was crazy. But after booking a million reservations in three-and-a-half years, it's become clear that the Internet offers an ideal delivery system for guaranteed reserved parking."
Today travelers can reserve a space at over 200 parking lots located at more then 65 U.S. and Canadian airports. The one millionth reservation was made for valet parking with Air Park at JFK Airport in New York City. "AirportParkingReservations.com has a strong online presence and they do a really good job of helping to round up new customers for us," says Jim Sparro at the JFK Air Park location, adding, "I'd estimate that around 20% of our business comes from AirportParkingReservations.com." In honor of receiving the one millionth reservation, Sparro's team members on all three shifts were treated to a free breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Many of the lots listed on AirportParkingReservations.com offer options for self-parking, valet and/or covered parking. Some even offer an array of car care services, including car wash, detailing and oil change. And all the lots listed provide luggage assistance along with free shuttle service to and from every terminal.
