PARCXMART Technologies appoints western regional manager

Saunders is responsible for managing all of Parcxmart Technologies projects for the Western region of the United States . This includes managing the interface between the Parcxmart™ Card solution, and the local municipalities and merchants who participate in the Parcxmart program.



The Parcxmart™ Card solution is a comprehensive payment platform that uses smart card technology to offer commuters a convenient one card alternative to coins and cash at on-street and off-street parking locations across the country. This payment platform provides a secure and accurate way of generating, collecting, processing and receiving revenues from on-street and off-street parking locations. It is the first turnkey smart card payment platform linked to Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) networks, retail merchants, and merchant banks on behalf of municipalities and the commuting public.

Prior to joining Parcxmart, Saunders was for five years Vice President for e-Business Development at MasterCard. He also spent thirteen years with NCR Corporation becoming a Senior Systems Architect, focusing on smart cards and security for ATMs and financial systems. He earned a BSC degree from Dundee University and a postgraduate degree in Information Technology from the University of Abertay in Dundee , UK.
