Parcxmart Technologies Introduces Instant Cool Rewards
Merchants Can Offer Individualized Rewards Programs to Their Customers Using Parcxmart Cards for Purchases
HAMPTON FALLS, N.H., April 5, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Parcxmart Technologies(tm), Inc., an electronic payments company, today introduced the Parcxmart Instant Cool Rewards(tm) program, which is designed to allow merchants to reward frequent users of Parcxmart(tm) Cards. Each participating merchant who accepts Parcxmart cards can set up their own individualized rewards program by configuring the number of purchases necessary to trigger an award to the Parcxmart cardholder. Each Parcxmart card can engage in up to ten individualized merchant rewards programs. The first merchant to be using Parcxmart's Instant Cool Rewards program is Woodland Coffee & Tea at 97 Orange Street in New Haven, CT.
"The Instant Cool Rewards program eliminates the need for merchants to create their own rewards cards that their customers may or may not remember to use again," said John Regan, President and CEO of Parcxmart Technologies. The way the Instant Cool Rewards program works is as follows: Any merchant wanting to offer an incentive program will activate the program on their POS devices. The merchant will configure the number of purchases necessary to trigger an award. When a Parcxmart cardholder uses their card at a merchant offering an incentive program they are automatically enrolled in that program. When a Parcxmart cardholder participating in the merchant's incentive program makes a purchase the visit/points counter will be incremented automatically. The new counter value is printed on the receipt. When a cardholder makes a purchase that equals the threshold level, he or she receives the award and this is printed on the customer's receipt. The counter value is reset to zero.
