Centro Comercial MAQ 1144 Chooses Park Assist

Park Assist has been awarded the Parking Guidance System (PGS) contract for the Centro Comercial MAQ 1144 in Mexico City.

The MAQ 1144 shopping center is 17,500 square meters, is anchored by 2 superior stores and features a cinema, fitness center, automobile service center, gourmet food court and various other retail shopping options. MAQ 1144 attracts many visitors also with its excellent retail location on Av. Miguel Angel de Quevedo, between Tlalpan and Division del Norte. The client, Toks, was determined to install camera-based guidance in their parking facility and knew that Park Assist offered the most innovative and reliable technology in the market. Park Assist’s M4 patented camera-based Parking Guidance System was chosen to alleviate traffic and minimize the time needed to locate vacant parking spaces.

Set to open in April of this year, MAQ 1144 visitors will be seamlessly guided to open spaces with Park Assist’s color-coded smart-sensors. Toks wanted to make sure that MAQ 1144 visitors had a positive shopping experience from the moment they enter the parking garage. The M4 PGS will cut down the time that shoppers will spend searching for an empty parking space, allowing them to leisurely spend more time at the shopping center itself. Visitors will also be able to easily locate their vehicle upon reentry to the garage using the Find Your Car™ feature that utilizes License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. Park Assist will continue to work with Mexican partner Autosistemas to complete additional phases of the project in 2020.
