Park-line introduces TEXT-parking in 18 different cities.
As off the seventh of July 2008, it is possible to pay your parkingfees through TEXT in 18 different cities in the Netherlands. TEXT-parking is an addition to the existing system Pay by Phone parking from Park-line
With TEXT-parking you easily start and stop your parking session by sending a text to 4111. You do not have to worry about coins or small change. Predicting the length of your stay is not necessary anymore. Next to these advantages you only pay for the exact time you parked. Worrying about a working Pay and Display machine is something for the past. The motorist just sends a TEXT to start and stop his parking session.
Park-line is available in different bigger cities in the Netherlands including; Amsterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven and Rotterdam. All in all the Park-line cities customers will have the possibility to use TEXT-parking.
Start and Stop by TEXT
Park-line Cashless Pay by Phone parking is parking and paying your parking fees through mobile Phone. TEXT-parking is an addition to Pay by Phone parking. The results regarding Pay by Phone parking are absolutely positive among its users. The use of Pay by Phone parking is getting bigger and bigger in cities offering this solution to the public.
With TEXT-parking Park-line adds a new feature to the way of starting and stopping the parking session. According to Tomas Novak, Commercial Director of Park-line it cannot be easier: You send a TEXT to 4111 including the zonal number, which is to be found on every pay and display machine. When you are done parking you send another TEXT to 4111: Parkeer Stop (the dutch translation of Park Stop). Worrying about not forgetting to end your parking session is not necessary says mister Novak.
