Weeze Airport, also known as Niederrhein Airport, has chosen to offer pre booking for its car parking spaces through ParkCloud’s Core network of parking reservation websites.
Following the recent expansion and success of the network, see article ParkCloud reaches 9 million with Core network, which includes more than 100 websites, ParkCloud Core has become a marketing and sales platform for small and large car parks alike.
For Weeze Airport, ParkCloud Core offered a new sales channel, and representation alongside their competitors on a neutral and unbiased platform, already used and trusted by customers.
Located in western Germany, a stone’s throw from the border with the Netherlands, Weeze is an international travel platform, with a customer base that speaks more than just the airport’s native German. For the marketing of their parking spaces, their services were listed on not only the German speaking website ParkVia Deutschland, but also the Dutch speaking ParkVia Nederland, and the English website ParkVia.com. This ensures maximum visibility to Weeze’s customers, and allows parking reservations to be made in the same choice of languages that are available on the airport’s own website.
Weeze Airport’s P2 parking service was activated on ParkCloud Core. Following this, a period of marketing work was undertaken to establish the new service on the market and to invite existing customers to try the new service. After every booking made on the Core network, the customer is invited to leave feedback about their stay, which in turn encourages new customers to book, following other positive experiences. Today, bookings are consistently taken every day for Weeze Airport’s parking service.
