Argentina experiences Strada for the first time

The city chose Parkeon Strada pay station, and this will be the first installation of this model in South America.

A first batch of solar powered Strada, connected through GPRS to ParkFolio is being installed in the streets. An additional batch will complete the system before the end of the year.

This new equipment, full of innovation, presents great expectations not only for the Municipality, but also for the users. Francisco Fiorillo, manager of Transito Rosario, the local operator, explained: "With Strada's incorporation, we have modernized operations. Now the terminals offer different means of payment to users, coins and private cards. Connected to the Parkfolio service, the system provides major increases in efficiency, and it is also ready to integrate the ticketing system of the public transport, in harmony with the environment."

Rosario is the example of a project built with a high technology level, using many innovations, despite important financial problems within the country. Thanks to the effort of the different members, the Municipality, the operator, Parkeon and their local representative, great work has been achieved.
