Parkex update

Parkex 2009, Europe's largest dedicated parking exhibition, organised on behalf of the British Parking Association, proves that the industry is weathering the credit crunch by securing three event partners: BemroseBooth, Civica and Equita.
parkexheader.jpgParkex, held at the NEC Birmingham from 21st - 23rd April, offers event partners a platform to communicate with their industry, build relationships and discuss the services and products at Europes largest parking event.

The partners represent the parking industry spectrum with BemroseBooth, providing print services to the parking sector operating an Environmental Management System, complying with the requirements of ISO; Civica, providing consulting, software and managed services and Equita, offering the UKs largest certificated bailiff service for local authorities.

Bill Butler, Event Director for Parkex, comments; Securing these three influential companies as event partners re-enforces the importance of Parkex to the industry. Having partners, rather than traditional sponsors, offers companies the opportunity to be more involved with our communications with the private and public sector attendees.

Neil Keeping, National Sales Manager for BemroseBooth, comments: BemroseBooth are delighted to Sponsor the 2009 Parkex Event. Being the main UK Parking Event, we felt that event sponsorship of Parkex offers us great exposure within the parking industry, one of our key business areas.&rdquo

Rachel Massey, Product Marketing Manager for Civica, comments: Today, we all face enormous challenges to deliver better services, safer streets and more efficient operations. It is for this reason that Civica is committed and proud to support Parkex as a major event partner and be part of an exhibition that gives visitors the chance to see market leading products and services and a valuable glimpse into the future of the industry. Civicas Civil Enforcement system plays an important role in delivering improved traffic and parking enforcement to meet tomorrows requirements, helping organisations to improve service delivery and efficiency and providing a joined up approach which connects people, systems and processes.&rdquo

Melissa Jones, Sales & Marketing Manager for Equita, ; By becoming an event partner at ParkEx 2009 we are not only increasing our company profile, we are showing a commitment and support not only to the principal and education of the event, but also to the associations and external contractors that dedicate their time creating them for the benefit of the parking industry.&rdquo

Patrick Troy, Chief Executive of the British Parking Association said: The parking and traffic management sector continues to grow both in size and profile, and affects every road user in the UK. It is more important than ever that we work together to ensure that the systems in place are fair, workable and benefit everyone and the exhibition is one forum for the industry to come together on the issues that matter."

Parkex 2009 will co- locate with Traffex; the largest international traffic engineering, road safety and highway maintenance exhibition, now in its 24th year and Street Design; a new event for urban design in the public realm.
