ParkHelp’s Outdoor Project at Zurich International Airport

ParkHelp’s Outdoor Project at Zurich International Airport

ParkHelp jointly with our partner Abaleo installed extra 80 outdoor parking spaces with indicator lights at Zurich International Airport. The system has been helping stressed travelers to find a free parking space quickly on the drop-off/pickup parking.

The project started in 2013 with first installation phase of indoor parkings P2 and P3, in total 5,000 parking spaces. Second phase was done in 2014-15 with another 5,000 spaces for parkings P1 and P6 becoming the project with most ParkHelp parking spaces installed in 2015.

It is a special custom-made solution based on ParkHelp’s Outdoor Wired Sensor technology. The sensors were integrated into a glass & steel casing and embedded into the floor. Their LED lights are normally installed onto the flight runways, but in this case they are used to indicate parking space status.

At ParkHelp we have pioneered the introduction of several technologies to the parking industry and we are constantly innovating ways to bring smarter solutions to our Clients. To know more about ParkHelp solutions, email us at
