It’s A Wrap for This Edition of PNVC – But You Can Join Us For Edition Three!

The Parking Network Virtual Conference returns for a third edition from 29th-30th June

Another edition of the Parking Network Virtual Conference (PNVC) has come to a close after a packed agenda drew large audiences from Europe, the United States, and other countries from around the world. Audience figures rivaled and overtook those of the first edition, spurring Parking Network on to offer a third edition of PNVC which will take place from 29th – 30th June.

Over the course of two days, more than 40 parking professionals led short and informative sessions dedicated to the latest solutions and services available to the industry. Our audience was presented with a range of solutions suitable for both the current situation and recovery, including parking guidance, SaaS platforms, blockchain, touchless solutions, parking protection, RFID, EV charging, virtual ambassadors, and enforcement.

A diverse array of speakers took to the stage, from familiar names such as Park Assist, ADVAM, Scheidt & Bachmann, and SKIDATA to start-ups making their first steps into the industry during these challenging times. Each speaker took their opportunity to deliver a 10-minute pitch before opening the floor to the audience for a live Q&A. Throughout the event, the chat function was busy with questions from attendees, keen to learn more about the solutions on display.

Attendees popped in and out of the event throughout the day, some staying for the majority of the event whilst others returned for several sessions that were of interest. Audience participation remained high throughout, and the polling system used during the panel discussions were a particular highlight.

Due to its popularity during the first edition, a discussion was held on both the European and US days and was focused this time on one particular parking niche - municipal and city parking. Experts from across Europe and the United States took to the stage to share their insight into what recovery from Covid-19 lockdowns might look like, what solutions they have already been implementing, and how a change in consumer behavior may drive change in the industry.

Jorrit Weerman, CEO of Parking Network, said: “We had a clear vision when we planned the first edition of the Parking Network Virtual Conference - to connect parking professionals through virtual events until the tradeshows, expos, and conferences we rely on, and the travel that forms such a huge part of our international industry, could commence again.

There is a lot of talk right now about preparing for the new norm. Whilst we may see a shift in demand for certain products, it is my sincere hope that we can return to business as usual before too long. Until that time, we will continue to organize PNVC alongside all of the other services we offer our community of parking professionals. And so, I look forward to welcoming new and returning faces to the third edition of PNVC from 29th – 30th June.
