Jakarta Lost 70 Percent of On Street Parking Revenue

Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki T Purnama revealed that Jakarta Provincial Government lost about 70 percent of its income from on street parking. Therefore, to prevent such a thing from happening again, he is putting in effort to implement integrated parking meter system to make sure the revenue from on street parking stays intact.

"Parking meter system should be implemented in Jakarta in order to make sure the revenue stays intact. This is because according to the study we conducted, we lost about 70 percent of it. So, this is very important," said Basuki, Friday (6/28).
