Passport Announces Partnership with Genetec, the Global Provider of License-Plate Recognition Solutions, to Offer Exceptional Integrated Service to Clients

Passport partners with Genetec

Passport is proud to debut its completed integration with automatic license-plate recognition solution provider, Genetec, Inc. The integration of Passport’s leading mobile payments technology with Genetec’s tailored solution will simplify the parking enforcement process. When a user utilizes the Passport system by paying for parking from the app on their phone, parking rights are automatically synchronized with AutoVu mobile ALPR enforcement units. This will ultimately increase enforcement efficiency, decrease the number of parking ticket disputes while increasing compliance in payment from parkers.

“We’re excited to partner with Genetec in order to provide this seamless solution to our shared clients moving forward,” said Khristian Gutierrez, Chief Business Development Officer at Passport. “These technologies complement each other in a way that creates the most efficient parking enforcement process possible. This partnership will prove to be advantageous to us as well as our clients, and we’re thrilled to continue to build this relationship for years to come.”

“Because Genetec AutoVu is built on an open-platform, we are thrilled to be able to offer this integrated solution with Passport in the next months,” said Chris Yigit, Business Development Manager at Genetec. “This partnership will bring a new level of convenience and transparency to all aspects of the parking operations of our clients, which is what excites us the most.”

Passport and Genetec will be launching this integrated solution in a major U.S. city this summer.
