Pay by SMS at APCOA car park

Trials at the pay and display car park at Cardiff Central Station, which is run by APCOA, will begin on 23 May, and allows customers to register the duration of their stay by a text message or phone call - thereby paying only for the exact time required. The system has already been introduced in North America.
A reminder text is sent to drivers shortly before their time expires, and drivers that over-stay can extend their visit by another call or text.
