Tech Company Peter Park System Gmbh Expands to Austria

In a show of its success Peter Park System GmbH is expanding into the Austrian market. The close cooperation of Peter Park with Payuca as an established local partner of the real estate industry in Austria bolsters the market entry. The first joint use case is Green Point, an innovative residential and commercial construction project in Wiener Neustadt.

Barriers that cause traffic jams and are prone to malfunctions are a thing of the past: With the new standard in parking technology, parkers in selected publicly accessible parking areas in Austria will no longer have to pass through barriers. The digitized parking area with automatic license plate recognition forms an integral part of a modern and resource-saving smart city concept.

This is made possible by the Peter Park System: the license plate scanner system - developed by the Munich-based technology company Peter Park System GmbH - recognizes the vehicle's license plate number when it enters and exits the car park. In this way, ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) automatically determines how long a vehicle has been parked in the lot and what parking fee is due. Payment is made conveniently via one of the leading parking apps or at the ticket machine.

The Peter Park System is already represented in more than 80 areas in Germany and acts as a system supplier for established parking companies and municipalities. With the market entry in Austria, Peter Park System GmbH pursues the mission of internationalizing digital parking management.

Partnership for digital parking management

For the successful market entry, Peter Park additionally relies on strong local partners. The comprehensive product portfolio of the austrian parking solutions provider PAYUCA offers an access system for the digitalization of garage management for long-term parkers as well as vacancy utilization via short-term parking rental. Through the interface between the Peter Park system and PAYUCA, hybrid parking management requirements, such as the connection of a public short-term parking space with a long-term parking garage behind it, can now be implemented efficiently and leanly. In this way, the leading approaches from the real estate industry and traditional parking management are coming together to create new standards of user-friendliness.

Benefit for the real estate industry and drivers

If a car drives onto the parking area of the real estate object, it is automatically registered by the Peter Park System via license plate recognition. If it is a long-term parker, which PAYUCA has stored in the Smart Access system, this is immediately recognized by the interfaces of both providers.
