PhotoViolationMeter Invades San Francisco

Photo Violation Technologies Corp. (PVT), a leader in technologically innovative parking meter solutions, is proud to announce the first PhotoViolationMeter to land on US soil will be installed in the Port of San Francisco during a parking meter trial. The PhotoViolationMeter will take part in the demonstration project from December to April on Chestnut Street, west of internationally recognized landmarks such as Fishermans Wharf and Pier 39, flourishing tourist sites.
Despite its name, drivers are calling the PhotoViolationMeter (PVM) The Worlds Friendliest Parking Meter as it eliminates the common frustrations of paying for on street parking and the worry of receiving a parking violation. The PhotoViolationMeter provides a number of userfriendly features, which eliminates the stress of receiving a parking violation, and informs you of when not to park, prevent the towing of your vehicle.

Drivers will no longer be frustrated by a lack of change or be able to use it as an excuse. The PhotoViolationMeter accepts all forms of payment with its Every-Way to Pay feature. The PVM allows drivers to pay for their parking with coins, bills, credit cards, debit cards, smart cards, and phone if the cities activate all the payment options.

The No-Fine feature provides drivers the option of allowing the PhotoViolationMeter to add time incrementally onto their credit cards. For a small fee, it gives drivers the peace of mind that they will never run out of time on their parking meter.

For drivers who do run out of time, the Grace Period feature enables them to pay for expired time, rather than the meter issuing them a violation. If the drivers do not return to their vehicle within the grace period, the Pay Your Fine feature gives drivers the option of paying for their fine at the meter at a discounted rate.

The Instant Notification feature notifies drivers of free and event parking times and also warns drivers of rush hour and no parking times by not accepting payment, which prevents their vehicle from being towed away. How many times have you paid the meter to come back and found your vehicle towed because you were in a rush and did not see the sign?

Photo Violation Technologies Corp. built the PhotoViolationMeter with benefiting the drivers as a priority. The meter is located at every stall, it makes it easier for drivers to pay for their parking unlike the current Pay and Display machines in use. The Grace Period feature, No-Fine feature, PayYourFine feature and Instant Notification feature are implemented to minimize the chances of drivers receiving violations.

The PhotoViolationMeter will restore fairness and ensure everyone pays for parking. For violators that do not wish to pay for parking, the PVM will issue a PhotoViolation automatically and send it in the mail.
