Q-Park, the top-5 player in the European parking market and market leader in the Netherlands has announced that they will take over the 8000 space car parking operation at Belfast International Airport in Northern Ireland.
International strategic hubIn international terms Belfast International Airport is an important hub, for both business and consumer air traffic. Ward Vleugels, Chairman of the Executive Board says “This is a prime location for Q-Park. Q-Park views parking as an element in the overall mobility chain and for us it is very important to have a presence at an international hub like Belfast International Airport.”

Continuing Investment in Northern IrelandThis move represents Q-Parks continued investment in Northern Ireland and follows the recent announcement of Q-Park’s acquisition of a 1,000 space car parking facility at Victoria Square the £300 million complex in the heart of Belfast City Centre which will open in 2008.
