Synergy brings together institutional investors in Q-Park

Q-Park has recently welcomed seven new shareholders to its ranks. All are Dutch pension funds.
All are Dutch pension funds: St. De Samenwerking/Pensioenfonds Slagersbedrijf, St. Pensioenfonds Beroepsvervoer over de Weg, St. Pensioenfonds Grafische Bedrijven, St. Pensioenfonds Woningcorporaties, St. Spoorwegpensioenfonds and St. Pensioenfonds Openbaar Vervoer.

ING Eurosiris: Tower 2008 had previously joined the ranks of the shareholders when it took over a portion of the equity previously held by ING Vastgoed Fonds Belegging.

Over the years to come Q-Park intends to further improve and extend its results, its responsibilities and the confidence of its shareholders. These new shareholders, which without exception stand for the long term interests of their members, fit in to Q-Parks strategy of targeting sustainable growth.

Drawing on a rights issue of approx. € 380 million and on additional capital supplied by ING and Rabobank, Q-Park was in a position to take over French car park specialist Epolia SAS while maintaining a satisfactory balance that leaves the door open to future acquisitions and obligations.

Chairman of the board Ward Vleugels comments: For many years Q-Park has demonstrated an uninterrupted track record of generating strong shareholder value. Thats prompted them to provide us with strong support coupled to strategic and financial resources. These new shareholders will further reinforce our mutual synergies.

Companies already holding shares are Dela Natura Uitvaart Verzekeringen, Delta Lloyd Vastgoed Participaties, Delta Lloyd Levensverzekering, St. Pensioenfonds voor Huisartsen, St. Pensioenfonds Medisch Specialisten, ING Vastgoed Fonds Belegging, ING Vastgoed Ontwikkeling, Reaal Levensverzekeringen, Rupa, NV Interpolis BTL, Rabobank Pensioenfonds, St. Bedrijfstak Pensioenfonds voor de Detailhandel, St. Pensioenfonds Wonen, St. Bedrijfspensioenfonds voor het Levensmiddelenbedrijf, St. Bedrijfspensioenfonds voor de Landbouw, St. Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn, St. TKP Pensioen Real Estate Fonds, St. Pensioenfonds ABP and St. Pensioenfonds ING.
