QI Systems Inc. Kicks Off Fiscal 2008 With a Large, New Order From Cale Parking
QI Systems Inc. (OTCBB: QIII) announced the Company has received a new order from Cale Systems, Inc., the North American subsidiary of Cale Access AB of Sweden.
The order, valued at US$200,000, is for QI Hybrid card payment terminals for use in Cale self-serve parking machines. The order is expected to be shipped in the beginning of the 2008 fiscal year (starting July 1, 2007).
Steven R. Garman, President and Chief Executive Officer of QI Systems, stated, "This is the third major order received from Cale during our 2007 fiscal year, though we will not ship this order until the beginning of our next fiscal year. Our business with Cale continues to be an important part of our growth strategy. Beginning fiscal 2008 with a large, new order from Cale serves as an important base of business as we gear up for the expected orders for our new QiWave(TM) contactless product line. We are extremely excited about the outlook for 2008."
