After setting up a new subsidiary in New Jersey, Quercus has focused on developing  ALPR units adapted to meet the requirements of a challenging US market.

The new version of SmartLPR® Access, an All-in-One license plate recognition unit, has been developed in order to provide color recognition, useful when dealing with US license plates: in this way, the unit can recognize at the same time both the number and the state of a license plate.

Another main goal Quercus has set for this year is launching the new housings for the ALPR recognition units. As car parks are public spaces that need small and versatile ALPR units, the new housings try to combine aesthetical features while maintaining the the advanced technological component of Quercus’s products. On the occasion of this year’s IPI exhibition in Dallas, Quercus will present its new products specially designed for the US market.
