Rainer Westermann Takes Over as Head of Corporate Communications at Infineon Technologies
Rainer Westermann (52) will take over as Head of Corporate Communications at Infineon Technologies starting October 15, 2004. In a successful career spanning more than 25 years, Westermann has worked as a communications professional in Germany, Canada and the USA and draws on extensive experience in corporate communications work for technology companies.
He comes to Infineon from the PR agency Burson-Marsteller.
Before taking over as CEO of Burson-Marsteller, Germany in 2001, Westermann was responsible for the strategic direction of financial communications at LHS Group Inc., Atlanta, USA, where he was a Member of the Management Board and the designated public spokesperson of the NASDAQ- and Neuer Markt-listed software company.
Rainer Westermann is experienced in all aspects of communications and has worked internationally since 1977 as a strategist, consultant and implementer of communications policies for companies, governments and other organizations.
