RFID based Key Management

The product range proxSafe offers different variants for safe keeping and electronic management of keys. Taking a key is only possible for authorized people. They identify themselves contactless by a transponder card. Because of proxSafes compatibility to all common access control systems people do not need a special card but they can use the existing companys cards. After a positive identification only those key locks will be deblocked and illuminated for which the user is authorized. The return of keys works the same way. Each process of taking and return is recorded with time, number of key and the users card number. In this way irregularities are made comprehensible. Key management systems from deister electronic can used for companies and car rentals fleet management. But also the access of staff e. g. for emptying cash dispensers can be controlled.
