RFID Technology for Reliable Vehicle Identification

Especially for parking facility management and vehicle identification a large product family of long range readers, transponders and controlling devices has been developed based on contactless identification: The tranSpeed-product portfolio with the latest UHF-or microwave technology for automatic vehicle and driver identification.

Long Range Identification Systems

The product range reaches from readers and transponders over controlling devices and software up to accessories such as mounting equipment. There are cost-effective windscreen transponder labels enabling service friendly usage (no battery) and convenient operation.

Dual technology cards help with integration into existing access control systems. These cards can be read over long ranges, well positioned by a card holding booster within the vehicle. The dual card technology provides the possibility to identify not only the vehicle itself but also the driver using a second transponder. The products are also well suited for all other application areas where RFID technology is employed for reliable object tracing. The modular system makes it easy for OEMs and system integrators to create a complete system from single components which can be freely combined or replaced by other components or to integrate the components in already existing systems.

Parking Facility Management and Car Access Control

The new comfortable and up-to-date long range systems overcome all the disadvantages of keypads and solutions limited to close-up ranges, e.g. wet arms, slow operation, traffic queues etc. RFID enables fast and reliable vehicle identification even under extreme environmental conditions.

All readers are equipped with standard interfaces for direct connection to the most commonly used parking or access control systems. Only one card is needed for physical access as well as the vehicle identification.
When using dual technology transponders tranSpeed products can be combined with all card technologies such as legic, mifare, Desfire or AES encoding.
