Rugby Borough Council, UK, installs Cale machines

Rugby Borough Council, in conjunction with Warwickshire County Council, have recently installed new Cale on-street pay and display machines.
caleafb1.jpgThe councils have, for more than 20 years, been successfully operating Cale pay and display machines - including still having in operation some Cale MP5005 machines, one of the earliest models supplied by Cale BriParc.

The Cale MP104 Compact model chosen for the new installations offers a modern, inconspicuous and slim design, making it an ideal solution for narrow on-street locations where little space is often available.

The machines are also fitted with a lighting bar, which illuminates the area on the front of the machine that the motorists use to purchase a ticket. The lighting bar can be programmed to operate at specific hours (for example night time), and this makes the machine easy to use even in an otherwise dark environment.

All of the Cale machines at Rugby are connected to the Cale WebOffice service, a web based back-office application designed to monitor, programme and provide statistical information on any number of Cale machines operated by a Council or company.
