Rydin Decal Announces Rydin PermitExpress™ Version 4.0

Version 4.0 of Rydin's Parking Management Software brings numerous new features and enhancements.

- Streamwood, Illinois, US

Rydin Decal, a parking management solutions provider, recently announced the release of Version 4 of their web-based parking software, Rydin PermitExpress™. The newest version of the software brings numerous data processing and critical user experience improvements.

Rydin PermitExpress™ Parking Management Software allows educational institutions to bring the  following parking management functions online: permit sales, permit distribution, citations and appeals, as well as driver and vehicle information.

Among the features packed into Version 4.0: improved tablet experience, enhanced password encryption, additional over-the-counter payment options and improved photo capture.

With Rydin PermitExpress™  our goal was to create a software solution for parking management that was designed with our customers in mind. We place a high-value on the needs of our community members and a number of the improvements in this release are based directly on their feedback and requests. These improvements will allow our community members even greater efficiency in managing their parking program while also preparing us for continued growth of the community. said Mike Weiler, Product Development Manager at Rydin Decal.

One of the most requested features for the new release was the ability to search temporary permits on Rydin’s Android app for ticket writing, Rydin PermitExpress™ Mobile. The app, which is available free to all PermitExpress users, allows users to manage, write, and track citation information from any compatible Android device, eliminating the need for costly handheld ticket writers.

As a web-based solution, Rydin PermitExpress™ allows our customers to access their data whether they are in the field or in the office. The new temporary search function will improve enforcements ability to track and issue citations for temporary permit holders who are in violation of parking rules and regulations. The addition of this feature will play a critical role in our users ability to seamlessly track citations and generate additional revenue.” said Weiler.

Weiler continued, “We’re excited to be able to offer our customers a cost-effective solution that eliminates the need for spreadsheets and handwritten tickets. With PermitExpress™, our customers parking data is migrated to an easy-to-use, customizable system that is synced in real-time across all devices. For schools, this means a decrease in labor costs and in the time it takes to issue citations. Our customers have observed increases of up to 800% in revenue generation from citations.

Rydin PermitExpress™ has experienced rapid adoption by high schools, colleges and universities and continues to grow at a rapid pace since its release in 2010, with a 200% increase in users each year. A number of the improvements in Version 4 will allow for additional growth while ensuring that performance remains unhindered.
