Saba: 19.8 Million Euro Aggregate Investment In Parking Spaces

Saba highlights its international presence throught the opening of 2 new car parks and a metered parking zone in Italy.
The subsidiary Saba Italia, SpA. has opened 2 new car parks in the city of Milan, and is soon to do the same with a metered parking zone, with a total of 2,085 spaces.
Saba Italia, SpA., a company owned by Saba (60%) and Autostrade SpA (40%), has inaugurated 2 new car parks in Italy and, shortly, will set a metered parking zone into motion, thus pursuing the international growth plans envisaged by this company whose main markets are Italy and Portugal, as well as Andorra and Morocco.
Saba Italia owns shares in the Milan project through the company Parcheggi Bicocca, in which it holds 25% of the share capital. The rest of the shareholding in Parcheggi Bicocca is in the hands of Milano Centrale, a subsidiary of the Pirelli Group.
The two underground car parks, which consist of 762 and 533 parking spaces, including 56 spaces reserved for motorbikes, are already operational. The metered parking zone of approximately 790 parking spaces will come into operation soon.
The three aforementioned parking facilities have a concession period of 30 years and entailed a combined aggregate investment of 19.8 million euros.

Saba currently manages 80,862 parking spaces

saba.jpgSaba Italia, SpA. manages 30 car parks and metered parking zones, including those mentioned above, with a total of 13,068 parking spaces in cities such as Rome, Trieste, Verona, Assisi and Rieti.
Saba, a subsidiary of Abertis Infraestructuras (99.12%), currently manages a total of 80,862 parking spaces spread over 148 car parks and metered parking zones in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Morocco and Andorra.
