SABA INVESTS 15 MILLION EUROS IN A NEW CAR PARK IN VERONA

The car park, located in the historical centre of Verona, has 870 spaces.
Following this operation, Saba Italia, a subsidiary of Saba, now manages 44 parking centres in Italy, with a total of almost 22,000 spaces.

Saba Italia, a fully-owned subsidiary company of Saba in Italy, has acquired 100% of Parcheggio Arena S.r.l., the company that has the concession for the Verona Arena car park. The car park, which has 22 years left on the concession, has a total of 870 spaces and is located in the historical centre of the city, alongside the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) in Verona. The new car park, for which Saba has paid 15 million Euros, provides a response to the lack of parking spaces in one of the busiest areas in the city.
The Verona Arena car park is added to the other three facilities that Saba Italia already has in the city (Piazza Isolo, Arsenale and De Lellis), forming a real functional and management network. The company has a presence in Verona, where it has developed an urban network of 4 parking centres, with a joint overall capacity of 1,741 spaces.

Strengthening of Saba's positioning in Italy

With this operation Saba has consolidated its leadership in the sector in Italy, where, through its subsidiary, it manages a network of 44 parking centres with a total capacity of 21,128 spaces, located in the most important cities in the country: Rome, Milan, Verona, Venice-Mestre, Rieti, Sassari and Vignola, among others.

The company is also building, and will subsequently manage, new car parks in Genoa, Pisa, Verona, Milan, Cremona, Assisi, Rome, Trieste, Montello and Sassari, enabling it to increase its presence in the country to 56 facilities and more than 26,000 spaces.

In this respect, a special mention should be made of the project for extending and restoring the Villa Borghese parking facility complex, an important and innovative contribution to urban mobility in the capital, by creating a large, well-structured parking facility for both public and private transport,with related services for the tourists visiting the celebrated cultural area. The project includes an extensive number of activities which will involve an investment of 92.5 million Euros, the largest thus far made by the company in the country's car park sector.

It currently has a total of 104,750 spaces distributed over 178 parking centres in Spain, Italy, Chile, Portugal, Morocco and Andorra. In addition, the company is developing new projects which will increase the total size of the network to 194 parking centres and almost 113,719 managed spaces.
